Artist Statement:

Capturing the R&B smoke between #Dreamville and their only female artist @arilennox , this painting was meant to serve as an act of standing in solidarity with Ari and her craft. Drawing on elements from the music video, the artist uses pop art communication to highlight elements of the beef and lyrics in the song.

Shortly after the release of this video, Ari went public venting about her frustrations on lack of promotions, performances, and overall support from her record label. 🫠

As an artist that writes her own lyrics I believe she executed this song as well as the video with SUCH class. Ari is now happily released from Dreamville Records and has released a new single titled, “Soft Girl Era.” While the R&B smoke is up, this painting is aging with time. The limited edition soft girl print release is currently sold out.
